The most intensive cooperation took place in the period December 2020 — August 2021, currently we continue coaching and ad-hoc mentoring of leaders.
What problem did Rohlik Group solve?
In the beginning, Rohlik.cz as a start-up was naturally Agile. As he grew, he needed to formalize/standardize his way of working more, thus Agility lost its functionality. The PMO (Project Management Office) was introduced. However, the consequence of this was that the delivery of the new functionality slowed down even more and the innovation that was absolutely essential for Rohlik.cz was completely lost. Hence came the decision to abolish PMO and introduce back Agility.

Why did he choose us?
Based on recommendations and experience from one-time workshops (Lean Game) from the past, we were invited to the selection process. Compared to other consulting companies, we offered an iterative, tailor-made transformation approach (Transformation Starter Pack) instead of a comprehensive service transformation package. At the same time, Rohlík.cz required extremely fast cooperation, flexibility in deadlines and frequent validation with key people in the company (CTO, Chief of Staff). From the moment of first contact, we started the transformation within 14 days.
How did the transformation begin?
Already in December 2020, we started with joint workshops, where we examined the context and situation in Rohlík.cz (size of organization, concept of organizational structure, existing OKR process). Based on this, we created the Agile Playbook (what Agile will look like in Rohlik, tribs/squad design and process). As of January 2021, pilot runs with the first squads were already running. The initial kick off squads was followed by a smooth roll-out of all tribs and squads throughout Rohlík (4 Tribes and 14 Squads by the end of Q1/2021).
Our role as part of the transformation of Rohlik Group in a nutshell:
- Designing and turning into an agile organization
- Organisation-wide training
- Mentoring at the level of 2 squads
- Executive Coaching of CTO, Tribe Leaders
- Mentoring Agile Coaches, Product Owners, Chapter Leaders and Agilnich Coaches Leader
- Developing the Product Owner Team
- Content workshops as needed (User story mapping, OKR workshops,...)
